Companies will literally print the job on a piece of paper, tape to a wall in the corner inside of THEIR OFFICE (you need to be an employee to even get in their building), and use the lack of response to that job posting as evidence there is no American that can do the job. Every big tech company, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Netflix, they all do it. 🤮

The process Vance is describing is strictly for the PERM certification that then leads into a green card application. They are required by law to advertise, at minimum, a 30 day consecutive job ad with the state workforce agency, two Sunday newspaper ad sections in a paper generally circulated, and an internal notice of filing for at least 10 business days. Every single applicant is reviewed as potentials hires and can only be rejected for the specific reason the candidates didn’t meet the jobs requirements.

Laid off employees also included H1B employees(from sources close to me). It’s a dog whistle to turn voters in for midterms. And the same Americans who think they are missing out of these roles are the targets. No application for a job is being rejected based off a status of being American. The other way is 100% true. Jobs rejecting non citizens with sponsorship requirements. So be fooled by these dog whistles and these companies will be moving to india anyways where they don’t have endure this racism and have better pay and benefits. 48 us based companies have opened offices with more than 1000 employees in India just in the past year. 48000 American jobs lost. So taxes from those jobs. Not taxes from those employees spending their money here. No application fees to DHS/USCIS ~4k per application. What did Americans get from this?
