Didn’t they pay back 100 percent of the bail out years ago! So they can not over see everything sadly! Whoever in charge of engine development and production needs to be held responsible.

5.3 and 6.2 have common problems with the $2.00 lifter carriers. They fail and allow lifters to spin. The oil hole ends up on the wrong side not allowing the the Displacement On Demand system to collapse the lifter. We have done at least 7 of these jobs at my shop in the last 3 years.
