This electric D.C. crowd brought everything to The Anthem: rosy-cheeked newborns, rapturous aisle dancing, ridonkeykong custom shirts, and enough energy to send ripples through the Reflecting Pool—had it been open! P.S. 20 years later, The Chicks are still careful to flyspeck the face of their Deputy to look for nits.
