Tong Jincheng is a recent graduate working himself to exhaustion. His mother fell seriously ill just as he secured a postgraduate recommendation spot, so he gave up grad school, took a job, and started a faceless handicraft livestream on the side to cover the bills. One generous viewer tipped him several million and became his top donor. Soon she was his online girlfriend, comforting him every night after another brutal day at the office. His boss is a gorgeous, brilliant, impossible-to-please heiress who humiliates his proposals in front of the whole team. Every night, though, his online girlfriend “rewrites” the draft, and every morning the boss reads it with a strange expression and a trembling voice. Then she assigns him as her personal assistant for a weekend business trip. Early starts, a romance movie with half-price couples’ popcorn, a key to her home, a blow-dry request, and a sister who keeps calling him “brother-in-law”... Tong Jincheng sees none of the signs. He just keeps venting to his girlfriend about how awful his boss is, and she keeps (suspiciously) defending the boss. Then he opens a locked room, finds printed chat logs, and discovers a handwritten name that changes everything. When his mother’s health takes a sudden turn, the boss shows up when he needs her most. No spoilers beyond that, but expect confessions, tears, a meeting with Mom, and a very satisfying ending. #part2 #Anime #loredeepdive #ShortDramaReview #fyp #Capcut - @zenithrecap
