Life sustaining supplies should be sent through a medical courier, not UPS. UPS doesn’t know what’s in those packages & sometimes they can’t control shipping delays. I have family who needs medical supplies delivered weekly and it comes through a courier, not shipped through shipping companies. This seems like insurance tryna go the cheapest route, I’m sorry girl.

I cant believe there isnt a closer infusion pharmacy, this is so scary and just keeps happening. I know its a wild thought .. but maybe you could move closer to one ? none of my patients have ever dealt with this but all the infusion pharmacies are local.

You need to apply for disability which will allow you to get Medicare part D so your husband’s insurance will not play a factor. You will qualify!!!

I was able to request my company ship with UPS instead of FedEx after I had 4 shipments get completely screwed up

The 10k is what they charge the insurance - what it’s worth to the company. But it doesn’t actually cost 10k to make. I don’t know if that’s a helpful way of looking at it 🥲
