Nice touch in this new version of Carrie that paid homage to Brian de Palma the director of the original 1976 movie. In this new Carrie when the town was burning, just behind Carrie, the cinema was showing a Brian de Palma movie called ( Retrospective in 35mm), which refers to a special De Palma 35 mm version of the original 1976 Carrie.
