@alihooke: I can’t get enough of clotted cream so I had to learn how to make it at home. Turns out it’s incredibly low effort. I put some cream in a container in the oven on 180*F for 11 hours. Then let it cool in the fridge overnight. Scrape off the top and use for clotted cream! I definitely salted it after for extra delicious. And saved the leftover liquid for smoothies or coffee creamer. #clottedcream #EasyRecipe #fromscratch #brittishfood #breakfast
I love clotted cream. I’ve always described it as butter’s sluttier cousin

Dude… where did you find heavy cream that isn’t ultra pasteurized? Cause I thought you couldn’t make clotted cream with the stuff you get in the grocery store because it’s ultra pasteurized.

In iraq its called kamar. If you have an Arabic or iraqi grocery store there you can buy it. Incase you dont want to make it again.

All the haters who have never tried it. LOL! It's so expensive to purchase. You're smart to make your own.

Put it in your mixer with whisk attachment. Makes it so light and fluffy. Really good with some coarse salt.

I had always heard it was gross...At the ripe age of 37, I finally tried it. IT WAS DELICIOUS! I hate that I let people influenced me so badly with CC. I now highly recommend it to all.

I saw someone said they do it in the crackpot. I wonder if it tastes the same. and can u do it on the stove on lowest setting and get it done faster without the top over cooking? like basicly condensing while letting it get "brown and nutty" like browning butter.
