This has made me so emotional! A loose dog once approached me and my pit on a walk and although he did nip my dog on the butt, ultimately neither of us were injured and the dog trotted back home (I think there was a hole that did get fixed). I did get the impression that the dog was mostly just curious and didn’t understand dog dynamics, lol. But what I learned that day was that my pit bull is neither a fighter nor a protector 🙃 I’ve never met a dog who hated being outside so much. Anyway, I know people are so weird about pits, and I’m so glad lilo is okay.
