@cbsnews: Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas postponed what would have been the first Palestinian elections in 20 years, issuing a decree on Friday to further delay voting for the Palestinian Legislative Council until 2027. The elections were delayed after Palestinian officials say conditions in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip were not conducive to holding elections. While some Palestinians agree with the decision, many of Abbas' critics see the delay as a way for him to stay in power. Young Palestinians who spoke to CBS News' @Dov Lieber say they want to see new political blood and choose leaders who can defend their cause internationally and root out corruption at home.
