I respect and admire your efforts so much!!! There are two feral boys that come to me for food, but they are so so scared. I've never helped ferals before, this is my first time. In April, I started putting out food unattended for two strays that are now adopted, and the ferals started eating here too - but then skunks were getting into it. I stopped leaving unattended food. The feral boys trusted me enough will come to my door, but they bolt the second I move, and hide in bushes until I set out their plates. I turn off the porch light so they feel safer while they eat. They clean the plates and dissappear. I bring in the plates immediately after, because the skunks are bold lol. I would have had no idea ferals even existed in my neighborhood, if I hadn't been approached by two strays for food. I'm working on TNR for the feral boys now. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for the work you do and your content, because you have more positive influence than you might even know.

I took in two barn kittens 10 years ago. I had lost my soul Kitty and knew I wasn’t looking for that same relationship. But also knew that they likely wouldn’t be adopted by others because of their temperament. They are still very skittish. It took them two years to even come out from under my bed. They aren’t the most loving to this day, but they are happy and healthy. And they are so loved. Indoor ferals are great cats to have of you have reasonable expectations.
