When my daughter was born the hospital gave us a gift basket, they said a woman had lost her baby the week before, her daughter’s due date was the day I had my baby. She gave the hospital a gift basket to give to the first girl born that day, on her daughter’s birthday. My girl was born at 9:57am. Idk who she was, it was anonymous , but I still think about her 2 years later. I hope she’s okay. I hope she’s happy. I hope she gets her rainbow baby if she wants 💕

Holy shit this is it. This is the feeling. I'm in tears because after 2 miscarriages my double rainbow baby was born on July 4. I'll never see fireworks the same way again--this actually adds some poetic beauty to the experience. Thank you. I am so sorry for what you're going through. I pray you will get your fireworks soon.

It’s like you’ve lived a whole life with them in your head before they even arrive. Especially with your first baby, you don’t even see miscarriage as a possibility. You think about protecting them from the world because you think they are safe already inside you. It’s gutting.

“There’s no heartbeat, you either had a miscarriage or you was never pregnant” is what I got told after my bf speeding me to the hospital when I woke up to go to work and was covered in plood from the waist down and was all over him too. Multiple positive test, just never made it to the obgyn in time. Had to explain to my step kids that the baby got sick and we wouldn’t be meeting he/she.
