@networkchuck: Setting up monitoring software for your homelab (and business) is a huge pain. That's why I usually don't do it...or I start and never finish it. I started using Checkmk a few weeks ago, the free, open-source software that can monitor literally everything....and I think this one is going to be a different story for me. Why? Because I can connect any of my AI agents to it to manage the monitoring for me. I set up a few things myself to see how things work and what it can monitor. Then...I just gave my AI agent the keys and it added ALL of my stuff, all of my infra, Docker containers, Proxmox VMs. It set up alerts and graphs and dashboards.
