I sent my child to Grade RR (Age 4) then Grade R (Age 5) and then he started Grade 1 (Age 6)..He was well equipped for Grade 1.❤️

Grade 1 is not colouring and counting 1-10. They do a lot. I was surprised my daughter doing division for homework and if your child doesn’t have a strong foundation of pre school and grade R, obviously they will suffer! But failing grade 1 phoo😭😭

I remember when my son teacher told us he was not ready to go to grade 1 so he need to repeat grade R and agreed she was so surprised we agreed said most parents they are not like us and they send a child to grade1 and child strungle a lot.And fails

as parents we need to take accountability bcz we give them phones, laptop let them watch things that r not teaching them bcz they irritate us n we want them to disappear so that we can b busy with our things like u r busy for our kids this age is very tricky they need all our attention problem we have excuses that I'm tired n im working long hours but what about the future of our kids 😏😏

I was at my Mom’s school yesterday and I honestly think it’s possible,our kids are just not disciplined, and unfortunately our teachers are even afraid to reprimand them.You find the teacher busy with lessons and only a quarter of the class is listening. You find half of the class saying they forgot their books at home and unfortunately no teacher can say anything about it. It’s a lot guys.If you visit a public school just for observation you’ll see that it’s possible.
