@jasondoroughauthor: I've been writing in Scrivener for years, but I recently started trying EmberWrite and I'm impressed so far. Full disclosure: they gave me a free copy and I'm an affiliate, but I only promote tools I actually use and like. The interface is cleaner and easier to start writing in, with scene and chapter organization, outlines, research, progress tracking, a writing sprint timer, and dedicated worldbuilding tools for character profiles, locations, and maps that sit right next to the manuscript. It tags characters, locations, subplots, and arcs, tracks scene stages, auto-backs up, works offline as a local app on Windows and Mac, exports to Word, PDF, or EPUB, and has no AI. It's a one-time $65 purchase with a free trial. My affiliate link is link.emberwrite.com/jasond, and you can use coupon code JASOND for $10 off whether you use my link or not. #WritingTips #BookTok #WritersOfTikTok #WritingSoftware #EmberWrite
