@jaybello7: The Pharisees defended the law but rejected the One it pointed to. Today, some profess to follow Christ while rejecting the very commandments He upheld. Different generations. Same mistake. Jesus never taught us to choose between loving Him and obeying God. “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” - John 14:15 Faith and obedience were never meant to be separated. #ChristianTikTok #BibleTruth #TenCommandments #JesusChrist #Christianity
For the grace of GOD has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, Training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great GOD and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession who are zealous for good works. Law without Love you can easily become a Pharisee. Love without Law, you become a Hippie. Is this following statement true: you don’t need grace if there is no Law to break? 🤔

You’re assuming John 14:15 refers specifically to the Ten Commandments, but where does Jesus say that? Read the context! In John 15:12, Jesus says, “This is MY commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” In 1 John 3:23, His commandment is to believe in Jesus Christ and love one another. John 14:15 never mentions the Ten Commandments or the Sabbath. You cannot simply assume “MY commandments” means Exodus 20. Show me where Jesus makes that connection in the passage.

This is what Trinitarianism has caused: confusion, misunderstanding, and ultimately a blurring of the Torah and what Yeshua himself specifically instructed us to follow….

"For if you believed Moses, you'd believe Me, for Moses wrote about Me." John 5:46
Moses wrote Torah. Jesus is Torah, the living Word of God. You reject Torah (the Law), you reject Jesus.

Once you send, you cannot be saved by the works of the law. You need a pardon (Grace). You received that pardon through faith. (You're relationship with God). The pardon does not do away with the law, nor give you license to break it.
The Jews thought they were saved by the law. That was never true. "Abraham had faith and his faith was accounted to him for righteousness."
