Disney leans into scenes like “Don’t touch her” and “I would burn down Olympus,” presenting Percy’s protectiveness toward Annabeth in ways that cater to shipping hype because it sells. Meanwhile, parts of the fandom were already sexualizing him as a child in the books. Both contribute to turning his fear of losing the people he loves into “hot boyfriend material,” stripping those moments of their emotional context. .

lo de "lo quemaría todo" ni siquiera es una confesión romántica, era un Percy de 13 años que estaba asustado, con deseos de haber podido m0rir ahogado porque creía que acababa de perder para siempre a su hermano y que no podría encontrar a su mejor amigo, además de enterarse que con una mala decisión suya podría arruinar muchas vidas. Estaba asustado y desesperado porque acababa de darse cuenta que sí lo quemaría todo por Annabeth, como lo haría por sus otros seres queridos, y por eso tenía miedo de sí mismo

odio que habran mal interpretado esa escena siento que la re sacaron de contexto no martina, no es una ecsena bootok o de wattpad, percy al inicio estaba literalmente en panico. lit antes de decir la frase dice primero "tyson esta muerto, grover desaparecido si me dieran a escoger entre salvar a grover o a ti" refiriendose que haria lo mismo por un ser querido no es tan dificil chicos, solo veanse el cap completo antes de opinar

THIS IS WHY I GET SO ANNOYED WHEN PPL SAY PERCABETH IS BEING RUSHED!!!! Looking at the show in the lense of “omg they get together” would make it very obvious in scenes like this, but looking at it from the fact they are both 12-13 and Percy is saying these kind of things, is actually an amazing look in to how reckless his fatal flaw really is, and how much it might impact him as the war continues on. (And yes they might be feeding us extra percabeth content along the way, I enjoy it either way. Bite me)
