I'm an avid stand-up fan but it's just so depressing how awful most famous comedians are or at least have become. Even people who used to have good writing almost exclusively do culture war nonsense now. I've only watched 2 Netflix specials in the last few years that I would consider genuinely great. One was from Taylor Tomlinson and the other was from James Acaster.
