For those asking if the book it’s not about his marriage then why mention her. She was part of his life for a lot of the time while he was going through the worst time of his illness. Doesn’t mean that the whole book is focused on his marriage to Sofia. The thing is that obviously people are going to focus on that because people want to know about Sofia.

When you are taking care of a sick person it can be very hard on caregiver. Some people who are unwell target their spouse and maybe that person disconnects or doesn't want to hug when you need it. As we know three sides to every story.His/Hers and then the truth.
