hyper athletic generational prospects doesn't have athleticism as their only redeeming or top quality. i agree that if a prospect's best quality coming into the draft is he's a freak athlete but average at basketball skills, then he shouldn't be ranked as high. this is how you end up with kuminga rather than franz Wagner.

Lebron, Kobe, and Mike were also technically skilled and athletic, Zion wasnt seen as very technically skilled and athletic it was always said he has out of this world athleticism and become great so what Pierre is comparing to just doesn’t work

LeBron had his athleticism but also he has top tier basketball iq and skill which made him that generation talent, he wasn’t just an freakishly athletic young hs player, he had it all u wanted from a prospect at 18, he could shoot, he was athletic, he was smart, he had skills, and he was a leader, lebron’s whole thing was he was the prospect of all prospects, he could go somewhere and immediately bring a franchise to relevancy with anyone, and he did that
