@iamahku: Mac Zoom: From Richmond to 2Pac's Inner Circle Hailing from Richmond, California, Mac Zoom grew up in a city known for its raw grit, unique hustle, and heavy influence on Northern California hip-hop culture. In the early 1990s, Richmond served as a key backdrop during a formative period for a rising young artist named Tupac Shakur, who was frequently recording in the Bay Area at places like Starlight Sound Studio. Meeting 2Pac in Richmond The introduction that set Mac Zoom's journey into motion was as real and unfiltered as the streets they navigated. Their paths first crossed outside a local liquor store in Richmond, California. Recognizing Mac Zoom's presence, size, and street credibility, Tupac immediately took a liking to him. At a time when Tupac was transitioning from a featured artist with Digital Underground into a solo superstar, he needed people around him who were not only capable of providing real protection but who understood the fast-paced, unpredictable environment he lived in. Mac Zoom stepped up to become one of 2Pac's early bodyguards during this pivotal era. #2pac #Makaveli #thuglife
