@financecoach.ali: 👨🏼🦳 This model includes reducing your withdrawals by £1k per month from 67 years old. 💸 I’ve assumed an average annual growth rate of 6%. Growth is stochastic (50th percentile) - meaning it’s more random and is not the target amount every year. 💪🏽 This is just one approach to flexi-access drawdown. If you have a flexi-access enabled pension, you may wish to take a different approach. 💰 These withdrawals are gross of tax. Usually, the first 25% of a personal pension is tax free and the remaining 75% is taxable at your marginal rate. 🪰 This model assumes no tax free lump sum was taken, and thus the first 25% of each withdrawal is tax free. 📱 I’ve also factored in a 3% escalation rate. Meaning that each year, you’re taking 3% more than you were the previous year. ⛓️💥 I know loads of you love annuities. I’m not discounting them. This is just a different approach. 👉🏼 Disclaimer: This content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.
