Patience & Steadfastness (Sabr) وَالصَّابِرِينَ (waṣ-ṣābirīna): and the patient men وَالصَّابِرَاتِ (waṣ-ṣābirāti): and the patient women 6. Humility (Khushu) وَالْخَاشِعِينَ (wal-khāshi‘īna): and the humble men وَالْخَاشِعَاتِ (wal-khāshi‘āti): and the humble women 7. Charity (Sadaqah) وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ (wal-mutaṣaddiqīna): and the charitable men وَالْمُتَصَدِّقَاتِ (wal-mutaṣaddiqāti : and the charitable women 8. Fasting (Sawm) وَالصَّائِمِينَ (waṣ-ṣā’imīna): and the fasting men وَالصَّائِمَاتِ (waṣ-ṣā’imāti): and the fasting women 9. Chastity & Modesty (Hifdh) وَالْحَافِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ (wal-ḥāfiẓīna furūjahum) and the men who guard their private parts وَالْحَافِظَاتِ (wal-ḥāfiẓāti) and the women who guard (theirs) 10.
