@abrothecary: Thyme & Pumpkin Crumble Bread🧡🌿 A delicious autumn treat ✨Cake -2 tsp baking powder -1 tsp cinnamon -1/4 tsp salt -1 tsp thyme -3/4 cup cane sugar -1/2 cup unsalted butter -2 eggs -2 tbsp maple syrup -1 cup canned pumpkin -2 cups all purpose flour ✨Crumble 1 cup brown sugar -1 tsp cinnamon -1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened -1/2 cup flour -1/2 cup oats ✨Glaze -1/2 cup powdered sugar -2 tbsp cream cheese, softened -5 tbsp heavy cream -Pinch of salt ✨Instructions -Preheat the oven to 350F and line a baking pan with parchment paper. -In a bowl, cream together cane sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the maple syrup, pumpkin purée, vanilla extract, and finely chopped fresh thyme until combined. -In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. -Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing. -In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the softened butter and mix with a fork or your fingers until coarse, crumbly clusters form. -Spread the pumpkin cake batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the crumble mixture generously over the top. -Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs. Allow the cake to cool in the pan before glazing. -In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and salt until smooth. Add a little more cream if needed to achieve a drizzle-able consistency. -Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the cooled cake and enjoy! #cozy #fall #baking #food #fantasy
