I am a dialysis patient who does hemo dialysis at home. Itโs alot of work. I have done in center at home pd and now home hemo. I appreciate all dialysis techs and nurses.

My husband asked me one day if its just babysitting adults hooked to a machine. He got put in his place real quick when I wrote out step by step how my day went without emergencys. has never again said my job was easy

I was training a new grad nurse that kept saying what we do is easyโฆshe found out it was indeed NOT and she is unfortunately not working in dialysis anymore..quit less than a month after training ๐ฌ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ

I will say this as an LVN coming from working in nursing homes to dialysis. Working in dialysis is far better, at least for me.
