The best/worst thing about this situation is a random German man crashed our girls debrief the next morning and recorded our whole conversation about this night out and uploaded it to Sound Cloud as a podcast episode called ‘Amsterdam Girls Dating Stories’ and I can’t find the link anymore 😭😭😭

Once I was getting a taxi home sooo drunk and I was telling the taxi driver how I was worried I’d be too hungover to cook a roast for my mum the next day as I’d invited her over for dinner, I then decided to invite him too to try and set him up with my mum 😭 my phone and died and I couldn’t pay so I gave him my number to call me the next day for payment and for roast deets (it was like 3am atp). He called the next morning and I had to uninvite him 💀 but I did pay and tip tho lol

Had a taxi driver laugh at me when I told him I was studying Civil Eng at Uni. He said he has a PhD in Philosophy so was a "Dr" & I wasn't. I ask how many fares it took to pay for his doctorate. It was a quiet ride after that💀
