Reach out to your HR if you have it. Employees with disabilities who need to work from home can only be denied if it’s a true undue hardship. Not just a company preference or policy change. Employees, you need to understand that wanting to work from home doesn’t mean it’s necessary. And your restrictions need to demonstrate that. Some managers just repeat what they are told and you may need to escalate your request to HR or higher leadership. Sometimes, either the employee or employer is misguided on navigating these.
