Someone posted something the other day about how smell was the only sense not involved in the fall of man, and how with all the offerings, the “aroma” was pleasant to the Lord. This guy mentioned how “the fall” corresponds to gravity that keeps us down here, but the scent rises up to Him. By that logic, if heat rises, the heat from our lungs would rise up to Him also. I’m probably doing a major injustice to the original posters message, but I wanted to share his thought with you because it’s just so sweet, and God is so amazing.

prolly seen me in the comments :

When He allowed me to understand that He inhabits our praise, it blessed me SO GOOD. I was suffering physically (before I got surgery) and He led me to the knowledge that I can’t praise Him AND feel pain at the same time. I tried it. I was in pain, and put my focus COMPLETELY on praising and worshipping Him.. I can’t tell you when the pain faded but all I felt was His presence in my praise 😭💕 He loves us SO much

He showed me once what it feels like to him when I sit and pray. It was a memory of my mom and I sitting in the car after buying Harvest Moon album (Neil young) and she was telling me all about it and it was such a connection/memory for me. He said that’s how it feels to him 🥹

This is life changing! The name Yahweh is actually ‘breath’. Many years ago I was going through a divorce. Early one morning I was asleep and dreaming I was having a conversation with Jesus. There was an incredible fragrance, the strongest I’d ever experienced. In the natural world it would have been suffocating but this wasn’t. The coolest part is that it was the fragrance that woke me up, like it was actually a real thing!

Look into humming, there is actually health benefits plus it’s calming. God blessed us with amazing bodies. Kinda like not knowing all the features of your phone or vehicle, just deeper. Like worshipping our Father/ “Christ within us” n proclaiming I am is giving praise to God. Just my personal opinion

The human condition is to think how you did at first, but the realization of this is the gift of the Father in itself, let alone the blessings he has for us when we breathe him in deeply 🥲🤍 this is a word sister in Christ !
