@diehardlakersfansonly: During an official live interview with CNBC on Sunday, October 11, 2026, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver confirmed that the league is actively partnering with Wilson to develop a high-tech "smart basketball" embedded with a tiny, one-gram Bluetooth microchip sensor. The technology automatically tracks real-time ball movement, velocity, and trajectory angles. Silver explicitly noted that successful initial testing has already rolled out in the G League, Summer League, and select 2026 preseason games. The system is officially on track to launch in competitive regular-season games as soon as the 2027 season to instantly verify highly controversial out-of-bounds touches and goaltending violations. 🗣 Seeing that the ball itself is about to snitch on human error, (LOL) do you love this push for 100% accurate officiating, or is the league stripping away the natural, organic soul of the sport?
