@breakuparchitect: There are dates people forget and dates they seem incapable of forgetting. Ask somebody when they discovered an affair and they can usually tell you immediately. Not just the date. Sometimes the exact time. Nobody brings food to the house. There is no recognised mourning period, no ritual that quietly informs everybody around you that something enormous has happened and that for a while you may not be functioning normally. You can spend a night discovering that the relationship you thought you were living was not the whole relationship that existed, and then wake up and be expected to answer emails. This book will not tell you to stay. It will not tell you to leave.
