The entire reason Zuko was redeemable imo is because Ozai never liked him. He was his first born so he had the natural right of ascension to the throne so he tolerated him and made sure he got trained but Azula was given more attention for her natural abilities. Its the reason their mother struggled to leave a positive imprint on her, her father constantly was in her head while Ursa struggled to be in her heart but it for Zuko Ozai struggled to be in his head while his mother was constantly in his heart until he was banished.

I feel like people answered based on the desire for atla to "win" over korra rather than because they cared about who the villains were. Unalaq is easily the most irredeemable villain on that list and he'd only be rivaled by Ozai

What do they mean a teenage girl who was raised in a toxic household, constantly fed propaganda, and treated like a weapon her entire life (which inspired her harsh/cunning actions that more so benefitted her dad/the fire nation than herself, AND ultimately led to her eventual mental break) is less redeemable than whole ass grown men who manipulated, kidnapped, killed, and/or poisoned people as a means of achieving their *personal* goals?? I swear, people have no amount of logic in their heads sometimes.

unalaq, then amon. unalaq literally was wrong in so many ways, but the most being, grooming and assaulting his own niece. this man, does not care for his kids either. he has no attachment to humans in any moral or ethical manner. Amon, actually cared about his brother, but his trauma of the things his dad taught him messed up his mind and he began to consider himself as a saviour. both are experiencing god complex. but unalaq is a psychopath at the same time. zaheer is the leader of a group of anarchist, there is a specific ideology he believes will bring the greatest outcome to humanity, he isnt devoid of humanity, but he is an extremist. lastly azula has terrible psychological damage done to her that makes her like that. she is still a teenager, she needs the right kind of treatment to recover and has the brain capacity to do so. as kids dont fully develop their brains until fully into adulthood

oh no. 100% unalaq is the worst of the 4. BUT azula almost got redeemeed in the comics and she couldn't Accept the help she clearely needed. It was sad af imo
