Why does she need to be told to be on time? I work ER, had a lady say she was going to be in in 20mins......She showed up randomly at 3:30 in the morning. 8 HOURS AFTER our conversation. Then, was mad that we weren't "ready" for her.

We had someone show up today an HOUR LATE with THREE patients! Her appointment was at 10:45. She tried to say we told her 11:45. Ma’am, no we did not tell you to come in with THREE animals 15 minutes before our lunch time! Not to mention, people get reminders! We still saw them because we had the time…that ate into our lunch. But it didn’t hinder care on other patients or appointments. If people only knew the sacrifices we make when they’re late. And yes, even 10 minutes can push so many things back that it makes someone not get their full lunch or break.

We are a walk in clinic ONLY. I can’t tell you how mad clients get that they have to wait 30 min - an hour sometimes to get into an exam room. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM A LOBBY FULL OF PEOPLE. it doesn’t matter if you do appts or not. They’re never happy.

It’ll forever be crazy to me that clients will show up late for us thinking it’s just whatever but won’t even think twice about showing up late for their own doc appt. LIKE ITS THE SAME THING JUST FOR YOU PET SUSAN!!!!!
