As a girl dad I been in that same situation, and had zero problems pulling out the peroxide and cleaning some pants. You did what needed to be done for that baby. Bravo!

genuinely nothing wrong u did, u did the most rational thing without overstepping boundaries, let them have their privacy and even cleaned their pants. they genuinely just want to have an issue with something or were just looking for an excuse to stop them being friends.

I’m thinking maybe they don’t have the full story. I mean 16 year olds aren’t the best at communication 😂 so maybe they only got a snippet of the story or there is some misunderstanding/miscommunication. I would hope they would call you and then listen to your side and then be like ooooh okay….we understand now, no worries, thank you for helping!
