My Dad ate breakfast with me every morning, drove me to school, made dinner while my Mom was still at work, bought me presents because he felt like it, took me to the movies and ice cream after, and took care of me on my horrific periods. When my Mom got sick he took over all the house chores and cared for her. So yeah….my expectations now are very high.
