@wilcotxinsider: A new board game café and bar is preparing to open in Leander this December, bringing a different kind of social experience to Williamson County. Wren’s Landing is planned for a nearly 3,000-square-foot space at 1561 Hero Way, Suite 120. The concept combines a collection of tabletop games with beer, wine, nonalcoholic beverages, and light food options, creating a place where friends, families, and gaming groups can unplug and connect. Behind the business are husband-and-wife founders Charles and Mindy Carlson. The name Wren’s Landing was inspired by the café where the couple had their first date back in 1996. The project represents an estimated $399,000 investment, with construction expected to wrap up in December. Whether you’re a competitive board game enthusiast or just looking for a new place to spend an evening, Wren’s Landing hopes to offer something different from the traditional bar scene. Expected Opening: December 2026 Location: 1561 Hero Way, Suite 120, Leander, TX Would you visit a board game café in Leander? #LeanderTX #WilCoTXInsider #WilliamsonCounty #WrenLanding #ComingSoon
