I was helping a coworker with some tech stuff to make charting easier for him. He looked at me and said โwow you are techy for someone your ageโ I almost smacked him. He is only 4 years younger than me. I really didnโt want to share my shortcuts with him after that.

I'm 66. Ex-wife cheated and dumped me when I was 54 after 18 years married, no more in-laws. I retired at 60 after 35 years of full-time work, no more co-workers. Nobody to "report" to, no inquirers to answer to. Just a new wife (no children, parents gone just like mine) who brings me peace, sunshine and oxygen. Never been happier.

The Whole Foods app is in a different place every time I go. A kid grabbed my phone and said itโs a generational thing. This was a few months after returning from giving a keynote in AI.
