@raswumpini: A special contractor is set to kick start drilling contractor of mechanised boreholes for the people of Tahiru Akura, Jato Akura, Mahama Akura, chirenda and other communities along Kintampo-Tamale enclave who, for the several years, have been grappling with water crisis. This is according to the kintampo North Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Isaac Donkor. Mr. Donkor made the statement in response to a question asked by a resident of Tahiru Akura during a live interview with him on GBC Radio-Kintampo on 12th cot.2026. This assurance by Mr Donkor serves a renewed hope for residents in the area who have no source of portable water.
