In the 1920s and 1930s: Hearst maintained an enormous private zoo on his estate, with zebras, giraffes, camels, kangaroos, lions, and many other exotic animals. Those zebras are descendants of the zebras that William Randolph hurst brought in for his private school over 100 years ago. Last count was 126 Zebras and they are free roaming .

they aren't wild. the are domesticated. the are fenced in JUST LIKE HORSE. Reminds me of the time a herd of wd elephants attacked me in downtown Albuquerque. SMH
