I don’t judge them based on the time it was in, but in today’s time I think violence should be the very last option to anything.

Though he also warned that violence if the only means of revolution can mirror the colonial power. If it’s unaccountable to the masses, runs through fear and authoritarianism, and doesn’t raise mass consciousness. It can instead lead to further damaged psyche and make freedom harder. He also warned that if a liberation movement wins and doesn’t reshapes how power is distributed in society it’s just became the next ruling class. He did beleive violence was needed but also very critical of what it can mirror or lead to.
