If there's ONE thing y'all take from this page, let it be this recipe. 🙌🏽 Hands down the best AND easiest chicken you'll ever make. Girls who can't cook, men who can't cook, people who've burned toast... this one's for you. 😂 It's about to be your new specialty and nobody has to know how easy it was. I won't tell. 🤫 Have you made chicken au poivre before? Tell me how you do yours below 👇🏽 Ingredients For the chicken •	1 whole young chicken (4 to 5 lb), spatchcocked and patted very dry •	Drizzle of good olive oil For the creamy au poivre sauce •	1½ cups heavy cream •	1 shallot, sliced •	3 cloves garlic, chopped •	2 sprigs fresh rosemary, chopped •	Splash of sherry cooking wine Seasonings: salt and black pepper for the chicken, 2 tbsp crushed black peppercorns (coarse or fine, your call), 1 tbsp chicken bouillon Instructions 1.	Preheat the oven to 375°F. 2.	Pat the chicken very dry. Dry skin is crispy skin, and we don't do soggy here. 3.	Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and lightly season with salt and pepper. Lay it skin side up in a roasting pan or cast iron skillet. 4.	Bake for 15 minutes. 5.	While the chicken bakes, add the heavy cream, shallot, garlic, rosemary, chicken bouillon, crushed black peppercorns, and sherry to a skillet over medium-low heat. 6.	Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Keep the heat gentle and do not let it boil. 7.	Once the chicken has baked for 15 minutes, take it out and turn the oven up to 400°F. 8.	Pour the sauce over the chicken until it's nicely covered. 9.	Return it to the oven and bake until the chicken is fully cooked and a thermometer reads 165°F in the thickest part. Timing depends on the size of your bird, so start checking around the 35 minute mark for a 4 to 5 lb chicken. 10.	Rest the chicken for 10 minutes, then carve and spoon that sauce over everything. @getgraza @Holland House @knorr #chickenaupoivre #easydinnerideas #chickenrecipes #EasyRecipes #roastedchicken
