What if I write about the small business I started in 10th for invisible illnesses. The reason why I made it is because of my own experiences with an invisible illness, but I don’t mention it connected to me once in the essay (I was wondering if I should). I have it listed fully in the additional info section, would the admissions officers connect the dots and is that a bad thing?

For one of my supplementals, im thinking of writing about gaining confidence to speak; my twist on it would be that I had a WAY more timid friend in my same classes, and I wanted him to not be scared of talking to people. So I put on an act and acted like I was confident and could talk to people so he could model off of me, when in reality I was shaking my boots every time I talked to someone new. What do you think?

Hi Brandon! Would an essay on my weight loss journey be cliche? I struggled with obesity my whole life until high school when I ran the risk of Diabetes, prompting me to take my weight seriously and lose 60 pounds and counting. I wanted to connect this also to my interest in prevention in healthcare. What do you think?
