Yep, this was on my timeline. I remember when this story broke later broke. I guess I can thank her and her father for my combat patch. The next go around (2003) they used our U.S. Sec State at the time, Colin Powell (a trailblazing retired U.S. Army four-star general with a stellar career who had oversaw operations during Desert Storm, National Security Advisor, and the first African American to serve as the U.S. Secretary of State)to deliver his famous speech to the UN stating that Iraq was in violation of UN Security Resolution 1441 and was in the process of producing chemical weapons of mass destruction. That speech helped gain support to go to war with Iraq and the rest was history. It was later that Powell discovered the intelligent on Iraq’s WMD he was given was not accurate. Wild Times!
