that's how we learned how in the v70s same for riding a bike we didn't use training wheels

me...I jumped in a 9 foot deep + pool when I was young..I didn't know how to swim at the time..I pushed and swam like a fish would..I barely made it to the surface and grabbed the ledge..will never forget it.
