The 42-year-old man who tragically lost his life after reportedly being ejected from the Goliath roller coaster has been identified as Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, a father and teacher from Atlanta. As more details emerge about this heartbreaking incident, we’re now learning about the man behind the headlines and the family left grieving his sudden loss. Hassan’s cousin, Geovonni, described him as the “sunshine” of their family. Just last week, Hassan was wishing him a happy birthday. Today, Geovonni is struggling to process losing someone he loved so dearly. 💔 “I’m devastated. I’m hurt. I’m confused. I’m lost,” he shared in an emotional tribute. According to reports, Hassan was thrown from the Goliath roller coaster, reportedly striking other guests before falling to the ground. Four additional people were reportedly injured. Investigators are still working to determine exactly what caused this tragedy. At this time, there has been no official confirmation of a restraint malfunction. What was supposed to be a fun afternoon at an amusement park has turned into an unimaginable nightmare for multiple families. Hassan wasn’t just another breaking news headline. He was a father, a teacher, a cousin, and someone deeply loved by those around him. He had a life, a family, and people expecting him to come home. 💔 🙏 Please keep Hassan’s children, family, and loved ones in your prayers. Let’s also remember those who were injured and everyone who witnessed this traumatic event. His cousin has asked for prayers during this incredibly difficult time, and I hope we can come together to show this family some love and support. Please leave a kind word or your condolences for Hassan’s family in the comments. ❤️ Rest in peace, Hassan. 🕊️ I’ll continue following this investigation and sharing updates as more confirmed information becomes available.
