Using the benefit of socialism to define socialism is dangerous to the masses as it creates a “less radical” wing of socialism that the masses can use to feel more comfortable with it, whilst ridding the actual definition of socialism. We need principled Marxist that can not only use common language to explain what socialism without sacrificing principles.

I think it is easy to lose sight of reality when critiquing these politicians. The fact is being academically and linguistically true about Marxist theory accomplishes nothing within the arena of public opinion. Jargon, while true, does not win anyone’s hearts towards communism, and when you are given an opportunity as a socialist to go on mainstream media, poetry is more important than demonstrating an academic knowledge base.

here's an idea let's take the wins where we get them. you're sad that people are abridging socialist policy to make it appeal to literal Nazi Germany as if anyone's ever had success converting monks to satanism. u cant seriously expect to take a population that has been engineered for centuries to immediately shut down mentally whenever the word socialism is uttered, and make them understand to the letter das kapital, much less agree with it. you need to delay the gratification of perfectly accurate marketing in order to make the marketing actually work. ts is the reason progress doesn't get made bcoz leftists r too busy squabbling over the policy's ideological purity while people are dying of hypothermia in the streets.
