@pawsfurthecausedfw: 📍 Garland Animal Shelter & Adoption Center 📍 ZEUS - A294751 💔 At 10 years old, Zeus should be spending his golden years on soft blankets and comfortable cushions, not sleeping in a shelter kennel. This sweet senior Husky mix is 50 pounds of gentle, laid-back companionship. He enjoys affection, loves squeaky toys, walks nicely on a loose leash, and knows how to sit. And treats? He’s a big fan! He can be a little mouthy taking them, but does well when offered treats from an open palm. ❤️ Zeus loves being petted, especially along his head, back, and sides, but he’s sensitive about having his front legs and paws touched. 🩺 Zeus also has medical needs. He has arthritis, possible joint disease from an old left knee injury, and recently completed heartworm treatment on October 1–2. His future family should be prepared to provide the medical care and comfort he needs. Zeus needs an adopter, foster, or rescue willing to give an older dog the love and care he deserves. He shouldn’t have to spend his remaining years in a kennel. Please share Zeus. Somewhere out there is someone with a soft bed, a little patience, and room in their heart for this sweet old boy. ❤️ 📍 Garland Animal Shelter & Adoption Center 1902 State Highway 66 Garland, TX 75040 📞 972-205-3570, Option 2 Shelter Hours 🕒 Mon-Tue: 11 AM–6 PM 🕒 Wednesday: CLOSED 🕒 Thur-Sun: 11 AM–6 PM #GarlandAnimalShelter #SeniorDog #AdoptASeniorDog #AdoptDontShop #FosterAShelterDog
