@iced.bread: A routine morning stop at Dunkin’ turned into an arrest after a sheriff’s sergeant learned that a customer who had previously been trespassed had returned and staff wanted her removed. The customer eventually left the store but refused to provide her name and continued walking away. When the sergeant and an arriving deputy attempted to detain her, she pulled away and resisted being handcuffed. The deputy deployed his Taser after she raised a container of coffee toward them. Fire Rescue treated her at the scene before she was taken for medical clearance and later transported to jail. She was charged with resisting an officer without violence and trespassing. She spent at least one night in jail before receiving release on recognizance. The charges were later amended, and she pleaded guilty to both counts through a plea-and-pass arrangement. Her sentence will be decided at a later hearing. Court records also list several other unrelated cases that remain open.
