11 OUT OF 11! 🎂🏆 “Makapasa ang mga engineer ko!” When a landlady in Daraga, Albay celebrated her birthday, she had one special wish, not for herself, but for the 11 board examination reviewees staying at her boarding house. She wished that every single one of them would pass the September 2026 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination. Months later, that birthday wish came true. All 11 boarders successfully passed the examination, turning a simple birthday celebration into a heartwarming memory that gained attention on social media. The story was shared through a TikTok video by user @enginazer, showing the landlady celebrating her birthday with the students who were preparing for their professional licensure examination. Instead of wishing for material gifts or personal blessings, she chose to include her boarders' dreams in her birthday wish. And her support extended beyond that celebration. In an interview with Balita, one of the successful examinees shared that their landlady regularly included them in her prayers throughout their review journey. “Palagi kami nasa prayers niya!” On October 2, 2026, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 6,337 of 17,062 examinees passed the September Civil Engineers Licensure Examination, equivalent to a national passing rate of 37.14%. Among those successful examinees were all 11 boarders whose futures their landlady had been praying for. While the students' achievement was the result of their own preparation and examination performance, their landlady's gesture showed how encouragement and care can extend beyond the classroom and the family home. For these aspiring engineers, their boarding house became more than a temporary place to stay during review season. It was also a place where someone was cheering for their success. What began as a birthday wish eventually became a shared celebration of 11 newly qualified civil engineers and one landlady who had been hoping for all of them to succeed. ❤️ #ctto #fyp #foryou #viral - @itsmalou27
