They definitely should. I don’t think they yet checked regularly due to all the high crowd, attendance, and all the sensors they use on the rides at the theme parks or relied on too much instead of visual inspections pray for the family rest in peace

Dude this is scary, cuz I was at a different six flags and my restraint on one ride didn't latch. Luckily the worker checked it and it flew open and surprised the heck out of me and the worker! He made darn sure it locked before moving on. 😳

Anything that has moving parts can brake at anytime doesn’t matter what it is. It’s a risk no matter what you do. Sad situation

They don’t need stricter rules (we see how well that works with guns 🙄) but how about stricter training? And having multiple ppl checking and double checking the safety restraints or changing them from manual to automatic….. and idk if this was the case or not, but making sure the person is tall enough to ride them. If someone is right at the line of height make the change that they have to be above the line. Just an idea. Roller coasters are just like bungee jumping and skydiving though fun and exciting there is a very costly risk of serious injuries or death.
