@faithfindsavoice_: 🍞 ST. ANTHONY’S BREAD ✨ A TRADITION OF PRAYER AND CHARITY 🍞 🤎 Did you know that devotion to St. Anthony includes a beautiful tradition of sharing bread? 🌿 According to the account preserved by his Basilica in Padua, a mother whose little son, Tommasino, recovered through St. Anthony’s intercession gave the child’s weight in bread to people in need. Her gratitude became an act of charity. 🙏 ✨ On his feast day, June 13, some churches bless and distribute small loaves of bread. Some churches also distribute blessed little loaves on 🍁 Tuesdays during devotions to St. Anthony, especially during the 🍂Thirteen Tuesdays leading up to his feast. 🌱 We can honor this tradition by sharing food with someone in need or donating to a food pantry. May our prayers inspire us to care for one another. ❤️ St. Anthony, pray for our families and for everyone struggling to put food on the table. Amen. 🙏 😇 Have you ever received St. Anthony’s blessed bread? Share your experience below. 🍞 Follow Faith Finds a Voice for more prayers and Catholic traditions.
