I strive to be this level of secure but this hurts my feelings so much cuz I'm just so excited to spend time with my person...I just wish u could find another person who gets it. someone secure that can reassure me and help me heal that part of me that's afraid of trusting someone fully and then being abandoned eventually.

This sounds detached but not in a healthy way. To be fair, I totally understand that my world doesn’t go down if my partner has other plans than our usual plans. But if Friday is normally date date and my partner doesn’t communicate he wants to go out with friends I would be disappointed and hurt and I would communicate that. Being secure doesn’t mean without emotions or that my emotions aren’t affected by what my partner does. I would not start a fight but I would definitely communicate, that this hurt me and I need more communication so this won’t happen again. But as I said, only if this is a regular thing.

Yeah the fact no one can tell which one is the avoidant. Secure people don’t tolerate this behavior. Lack of communication, tells them last minute, doesn’t include them, vague, clearly not a priority.
